Four Rivers K-9 Search Rescue & Recovery Team
Meet Our Team Members
The volunteer members of the Four Rivers K-9 Search Rescue & Recovery Team, Inc. Mounted SAR and Dive come from all walks of life and bring many special skills and much experience to the table. Our members include Search and Rescue specialists, Urban Search and Rescue specialists, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, veterinary techs, city workers, CPA's, teachers, public relations, specialized divers, and communications personnel.
Our highly trained K9s work track and trail, air scent, land and water cadaver, and collapsed structure search, as well as disaster. Moreover, our Mounted SAR Team can quickly deploy to set and hold search perimeters as well as search from the high vantage point of their equine mounts. Our Dive Team partners use the latest in sonar equipment. This equipment allows large bodies of water to be scanned and objects identified to help narrow the search fields for the divers.
